There are hundreds of applications for durable identification tags. Traditionally, stamped metal or paper laminates have been used. Metal can rust, is sometimes very hard to read and can scratch. It also is sometimes a problem around electrical equipment. Laminated tags solve almost all of these problems but they are just not durable. Jtags has created an innovative set of alternatives using colorfast nylon such as materials handling tags. Up to three lines of text, a logo and a seven digit sequential number foil pressed into the nylon of the three available styles. These durable safety tags are the perfect solution to many challenging applications. They remain highly visible and legible even with subjected to salt water, dirt and other compounds.

Two of the styles available, the WrapStrap and the Raktag, do not need any other mounting hardware. WrapStraps snap into either a 75 or 95mm ring by inserting one end into the other. The Raktag also snaps into a ring but it is adjustable and starts at 175 mm. Because they can easily encircle a chain or cable, they make incredible lifting inspection tags. Available in several colors, you can even implement a color coded system with WrapStraps or Raktags.

In addition to the WrapStrap and Raktag, disc styles similar to traditional pet ID badges and dog license tags. Although these must be attached using a split ring connector, they are yet another great alternative when you need safety tags. There are literally dozens of applications that can take advantage of our nylon tag models. They can be used for everything from lifting inspection identification to pet licensing.
