Materials Handling Tag Requirements

When containers are stored or transported, you must be able to tell exactly what they hold. A materials handling tag and a rigging test tag needs to be rugged and durable. It also needs to minimize the potential for sparking. Jtagz has created a line of tags specifically for these types of situations. Three styles are available: the WrapStrap, a 75mm or 95mm strip that locks into place as a ring, the Raktag, a 175mm strap that locks into a ring and the disc, a standard badge style. Of the three, the WrapStrap tag is probably the best suited for most material handling situations. All three types are made of colorfast nylon with all information foil pressed into the tag.

Advantages Of The WrapStrap Tag

There are many reasons why we consider the WrapStrap to be your best option for materials handling identification. First of all, the WrapStrap tag is easily installed without the need for any additional hardware. Because it is created from a resilient nylon, it does not present any of the disadvantages of metal while providing the same durability. The WrapStrap, like all of our offerings, can hold up to three lines of text and a seven digit sequential number. There is often enough room for a logo as well. 75mm versions are available in eight colors and 95mm versions in ten, allowing you to create a color code if necessary. For example, you can mark containers flammables or highly caustic with two separate colors, with each container carrying a unique number that can be referenced against a master manifold that details the contents, packing date and other pertinent information. At Jtagz, we believe there is no superior materials handling tag available than our WrapStrap. Contact us to learn more.
